Default Get out there and VOTE!!!

'Tis the season! So get out there and vote!! Tell your friends, tell your family, tell your neighbors!!!

Early voting is underway until close-of-business Oct 29th! So beat those long lines on Nov 2nd and vote early!!

The link below takes you to the Texas Secretary of State website with a listing of all the Texas counties. Click on your county to see where the voting sites are at!

For those in other states I'm sure there's a listing similar to this one so feel free to post it up in reply to this thread!

    You betcha!!
I'm even driving folks in my subdivision to the polls. I only have ONE caveat. They MUST vote as I do.

Why do I have that overwhelming urge to say, "Vote early ... vote often!!"??

Already Voted! We have "Vote By Mail" where we live. It sure beats standing in line, and you can research the voter's pamphlet if there is an issue you forgot about.

I already voted too! That way I have the right to fuss and complain! If you don't vote, DON"T complain. At least that's the way I see it. And I keep hoping that one of these days I'll go vote, and then find I have nothing to complain about. What can I say, I'm an optomist not a realist.

I do like Oregon's system. They mail you the ballot, you fill it out and mail it in. Total cost to the voter one postage stamp.

I've heard that "vote early vote often" thing before... It makes the hackles on the back of my neck stand up!

flickfly? It sits crooked in my craw, too. I've been on this board for a long, long time, and others here would have been disappointed had I not said it. Just so's you know ... voting is a responsibility each and every one of us must use wisely and cherish with our lives..
