Default John Channer 7 1/2' 2/2 3 wt bamboo rod

This is a beautiful example of John's work, lightly flamed with dark red wraps, blued hardware, dark walnut insert and cigar grip. Although I asked him for a 3 wt. I like it better with a 4. A very delicate rod for small flys and light tippets. Based on the PHY Perfectionist taper. The rod is perfect in every way. My name is on it but I'm sure it can be taken off. Comes with rod sock and tube as furnished by John.

$600 plus actual shipping and insurance if desired.

    Jerry,

The sound you hear is my teeth gnashing for want of the money to get this rod. As an owner of one of John's rods I will envy whoever gets this one. I know you hate to part with it.

    Jerry,

Like Ron, I really would love to have this rod. If I hadn't already committed to another maker I'd have her by now!

I can't believe it hasn't been snapped up! The price is really well below what it should be. Wow.

Don't discount it either! John did really good work as well as help with a newby's questions.

    Good luck with this rod.

    Jeremy.

    Jeremy,

I have to agree with all you have said.

From my experience though, you can't give a bamboo rod away here.
