Default Suggestions on a 2wt reel

I'm building a 6'6" 2wt for my brother. I wasn't planning on outfitting him with a reel and line, but started thinking that maybe if I could find a cheap reel, I would, so that he would at least have something to fish it with until he can get what he wants.

Does anyone have any suggestions on a cheap reel for a 2wt. By cheap I mean anything under $50 (and everyone laughs).

    Thanks,

    TT.

I use a Hook & Hackle 6'6" 2 wt rod I built from kit with a Medalist 1492 and H&H 2 wt line. Works very well for me.

I have a Prestige Plus #1 from Cabelas for my #3wt and works perfect. Really cheap and nice working machine.

I have a J. Austin Forbes Magnesium on my 2 weight and love it. While there are none of the magnesium models showing up on ebay there are a few machined aluminum modles that are small and light (1.6 oz) enough for a 6'6" 2 wt. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=290479626671

I have no affiliation with the seller, I'm just a happy J.Austin Forbes reel owner.

I've got one of the J. Austin Forbes magnesium reels for my 2wt, I love it, but I'm not able to spend that kind of money on a reel for him right now, not that I wouldn't like to.

I'll take a look at the Cabella's prestige, thanks for the suggestions, keep them coming please.

For a 2 wt, you don't need much reel. I would probably go with a Pflueger Medalist 1492 or a Cabelas 3 Forks. I think both would be under $30.
