Years ago (mid '60s) my father stopped a guy on the Denali Highway getting ready to hike out to a grizzly bear for photos. When told the bear might be unhappy seeing him the guy replied "It's just a Park bear!" In those days the bears were less accustomed to people and more inclined to bluff charge on principle. And sometimes they were not bluffing.
