My girlfriend a I both have a pair of Smiths, and they rock! Mine are a few years older than hers but she can change the lenses in them but don't seem to cut through the water as well but still do a good job. You just have to find them for the right price is the key.
Bedlam, sounds like your glasses are coming apart. Have you contacted Bolle? Warranty?
I wear Action Optics (Smith) with my current pair going on 10 years. These are the cheaper plastic ones.
Years ago I tried the Walmart glasses. Not very good optics. Cheap, though. Here's a link to a cheaper brand someone once posted here. I don't own these:

I had the same experience with a pair of Ray Bans. Ray Ban replaced them but never was happy with them.
I wouldn't trust my eyes to a pair of sunglasses under $50 unless I got thumbs up from an Optometrist. So I did just that and he recommended a Kirkland brand (probably because my Optometrist is from Costco) that had all the bells and whistles that the higher price ones have, with the exception of the frame material (I don't miss it).
$30.00 is what I paid. They came with a case and a cleaning cloth; was so pleased that I bought a back up pair.
If you're not a member let me know I sure we could get a pair to you.
Respectfully,
Sean
P.S. Oakleys though expensive are well worth the moneys for the optics and protection. I am sure they saved my eye once
and I wasn't fishing.
Thanks Old Man GO IRISH!
The Bolle warrranty requires the original receipt, which, I am unable to locate. apparently costa del mar has a lifetime warranty and does not require the receipt in case you lose the receipt...again.
