Default Dandy 'gills on the 2wt, but forgot the camera

I just put a 3wt double taper line on my 2wt that Joe Valencic built & gifted to me. Had to try it with the new line which went very well. Was only able to get out for 2 1/2 hours as I got a last minute call to babysit Grandchildren.
Forgot my camera in the rush, but did get a bunch of nice 'gills on white foam spiders. Had 3 small ones about 7", several 8" to 9", 2 slightly over 9", & a 10 incher (3rd this year). While the trip was short, it was a good one.
Sorry about no pics, but those of you who have fished with me (or viewed other pics) know I don't BS about the size of 'gills I catch. It was good to get out today...It had been too long since the last trip.

    Awesome, Mike!
    I haven't been able to catch a 10-inch Bluegill since the 1980's!

Sounds like a great time! Bluegill are always fun on a flyrod.
I spend a little time on the mountain, I spend a little time on the hill...

Great outing and sorry I missed it.

    When I don't have a camera I catch fish Ohio's too.

    Sean,
Anytime you're ready, let's go!...All ya gotta do is call. I have extra 'gilling rods too.
Come to think of it, I don't think anyone from this board has fished my favorite bluegill ponds with me & FAILED to catch at least one "Fish Ohio" bluegill (9").
I'm still waiting on you, Mike (Shorthaul), Frank from PA, Eric from PA, & others to get down here.

Careful Tuber, issue a challenge like that and you never know who (or what) may show up on your doorstep!
