    Default Wyoming Cutt Slam

    Yellowstone Cutthroat:

    Snake River Cutthroat:

    Colorado River Cutthroat:

    Bonneville Cutthroat:

I'm not submitting my photos yet, because I need to catch a much, much smaller Yellowstone Cutthroat. I want to submit photos of the four smallest fish they've ever had submitted...

That is really cool. How do you i.d. the different strains? Is it by visual differences or by the location where they are caught? The reason I ask is because a friend of mine caught what we thought might be a greenback cutt but the picture also looks like a number of other cutthroat strains as well.

Both location and visually. Some of them are pretty easy to distinguish (Snakes and Colorados), while the two that look similar (Bonnies and Yellowstones) live in pretty distinct drainages.
