The point of this will be more on enjoying the novelty of tying with foam, but not necessarily to match a hatch or taking fishing right away. Here is what I am thinking - A Foam Fly Swap, with 6 tyers, with each person picking two separate patterns. So, you will still get 12 flies, but you won't have to tie twelve of the same. One good thing is that foam is pretty cheap at any craft store, and comes in fun colors!
I've got some pretty good resources for foam fly-tying as well and I will post them up if we roll with this.
So, what do you think? Anyone interested?
