What's your favorite time of year to fish?

Fall! Without question, one of the most beautiful times to explore rivers, streams & lakes. Less rain, no mud, awesome colors & hungry fish.

Early spring. The trees are starting to turn green, the river is crystal clear, cold and low, the days are getting longer and warmer, and big, wild steelhead are in the river.

And, I'm almost there. IN a few days, I'll be in Wyoming on our/my annual fly fishing trip . I only fly fish ONCE a year and at this time of year. It's not often but , rest assured, I squeeze EVERY second out of the experience. Yes, THIS is my favorite time of year to fish.

I like to fly fish most anytime, but if I had to pick just one time a year it would be fall. Sea Run Cutthroat are in the rivers and all is right with the world.
