    Normand,

Very well done. I love to tie em and I love to fish em! Never heard of the Corn Buck before. Thanks for the reference. I looked up the pattern in my favorite streamer book (Streamer Fly Tying And Fishing- Joseph D.Bates Jr) before seeing your reference. I would have thought that any "forgotten fly" would have been listed in Bates book!LOL.
Did you tie that on a Mustad 9575? That is still my favorite streamer hook. I only wish Mustad had put a longer return loop and better taper to the return. I probably use streamers
as much as drys/wets/nymphs. I like to use them to shake things up when its slow fishing. Most of my largest trout have been on streamers. My favorite right now is the Black
Ghost with a white maribou wing. I add about 4 strands of pearl crystal flash to the wing. It seems to do the trick! My top producers- in no particular order, are the Black-nosed
dace(Thunder Creek style), Royal Coachman, Nine-Three, and the Bloody Muddler. Oh, and don't leave home without a few Mickey Finns!!!

    Hi Normand,

You tie a very nice looking fly, no doubt about it. Are these for a display case? They certainly look like they were fussed over a bit more than flies headed for the fly box and eventually a stream-side bush. Nice job! 8T
