    Angry Back Surgery

I called my social worker yesterday to see if he could find out anything about my status for back surgery. I'm pretty sure I have bone spurs tangled up in my sciatic nerve. He called back and told me that the doctors at the Vets Hospital have scheduled viewing my MRI for Sept. 16th. That's over a month from now. If they continue to move that slow, my IRA will be empty by the time I get back to work. IF I get back to work. This all makes for a very grumpy Lotech Joe. I've posted this same thing on my facebook page. I don't understand why the the doctors have to take so much time. I'm sure that if I was in Portland and went into the emergency department there, I would get my surgery within a couple of days.

Go to Portland Joe, it is your health you are talking about, don't mess about with it.
BTW I must be more low tech than you, I don't do Facebook! Maybe I really am a luddite.
Hope all goes well for you.
    All the best.

I sometimes try Hi-Tech, but every time I do, I prove to myself that I am indeed Lotech.

I can't comment on your reply in this forum the way I want to, so I'm sending you a PM.
