Let me tell you, if more companies had even half of the customer service with their gear, we would have less issues across the board. I called them less than 3 weeks ago with an issue I had with my 8' 6wt Superfine. The cork had chipped around the reel seat and the last ring had broken loose and started to peel away. The guy on the phone never hesitated, and was great to deal with. He said mail it back and started a ticket. I took it to the local Orvis shop near work the next day at lunch, and they shipped it for free back to the factory. I sent a note along with it that I wanted only to have the cork repaired and didn't want to lose the unsanded blank.

Well.....today....less than 3 weeks after the day I mailed it out....I come home to the rod on the porch. It's fixed....with a beautiful cork replacement, and the original model reel seat and spacer replaced as well. It's like a brand new rod again. No charge....not even shipping. For a 1999 rod.

I can't say enough. Sorry....but I needed to share something good:^)
