Default PALE MORNING DUNS (Part 5) - Eye of the guide - August 9, 2010

    PALE MORNING DUNS (Part 5)

Figures #1, #2 & #3 show the trout's basic cone (field) of vision and what the trout can see while holding deep versus what the trout can see when holding close to the surface.

    Ladyfisher,
I am surprised you allowed this to be printed. I know I gave you and Castwell copies of my book "What Trout Actually See" and Castwell and I discussed it. I am not certain I ever convinced him of his erroroneous views, but that is of little consequence.

The concept of the 10 degree angle is completely bogus and the photographs in my book proved this is so. If any of your members are actually interested in the facts of what trout can actually see, I will send them a copy of my book if they will send me an SASE and one dollar for postage to P.O. Box 46014, Rio Rancho, NM 87174.
