Alright here are a few of my recent ties. Now it's your turn. FAOL fly tying is a little slow right now. It is too hot to fish, so let's get the tying incentives now for getting ready for fall.

It is never to hot to fish. I just tied up half a dozen weighted wooly buggers in size 6. Soon as I get off the net I am heading to the Kankakee River to fish for some smallmouth wooohooo
Remember we all live down stream
First I worked on my Juice Bug patterns:Applejuice1.jpg

Then I worked on a mysis shrimp:

Cool looking shrimp. You ought to do a FOTW on that one.
If I get enough requests I'll do a FOTW for the shrimp.

Rio Grande King wets, a bunch of my panfish minnows, hares ears, a few leeches, and a bunch of jigs! Getting ready for fall turn-over.
The Green Hornet strikes again!!!
Don those are some great looking flies!
I tied "foam grasshoppers" (see warm water post)
Those were some cool looking foam grasshoppers, they sure do work. Glad you decided to give them a whirl. You never know what might decide they are in the mood for a hopper. I saw a lady who was fishing for bream with crickets once...and instead of a bream, she caught a HUGE catfish...it was so big she needed help to get it in. Some of my best fish have been off of a foam grasshopper.
