    Default Sad News from Rock Creek

    Please keep the family of Doug Persico in your prayers. Doug was the long time owner of Rock Creek Mercantile, on Rock Creek in Western Montana. Word came out today that Doug passed away this morning. He and his knowledge of the Creek will surely be missed.....

    I personally didn't know him but I hate to see any of our community pass. My prayers to his friends & family.

    Doug was a great guy to talk to. My girlfriend and I would always fish Rock Creek on our annual trip to MT make sure we stopped and had a good chat with Doug. I also liked to read his rants on their website. Will miss the conversations.
