Thread: No Fly Angling ...

  1. #1

    Default No Fly Angling ...

... at Skookum Butte on the Montana / Idaho Border.

    But you can look out.

And see the Mission Mountains to the north.

And the Bitterroot Mountains to the south.

After all, it ain't all about fishing.

    John

P.S. There are some nice trout streams in the vicinity.
    The fish are always right.

Hi John, good to see you are getting out to some lovely places. Not sure I would want to be in that hut in a storm, looks like a long way down.
    All the best.

LOL, Mike! I thought the same thing ... but, if you'll notice in the second picture ... there's tie downs!!!

    Beautiful pictures, John! Thank you!
Trouts don't live in ugly places.

A friend is not who knows you the longest, but the one who came and never left your side.

Don't look back, we ain't goin' that way.

Fly fishing and fly tying are two things that I do, and when I am doing them, they are the only 2 things I think about. They clear my mind.

When you can arrange your affairs to go fishing, forget all the signs, homilies, advice and folklore. JUST GO.
