Default First corbina on the fly

I met with a very knowledgeable angler yesterday morning and I learned a thing or two about the surf and corbinas.
I managed to catch two of them on the fly and it was a very exiting experience fighting a big fish. For some reason the beach was full of clothes, I caught a sock and a tank top...

Very nice fish! How do they taste? It looks a little bit like an Australian Jew fish.
    All the best.

Nice fish Martin. Did you catch them on your new sand crab fly?

I mean, it seemed like somebody emptied their whole closet there, shame on them, clothes everywhere. Unfortunately both the sock and the tank top were small. I saw a pair of tighty whities that looked just my size but I couldn't catch those
I released both fish but a while back I kept one and it tastes great! It doesn't get as big as the Australian Jew Fish but still puts up a great fight.
I did catch one of them on my deer hair sand crab aka "dhsc" and the other fish on a regular yarn crab.

Congratualtion on the new species and on your own creation and design is that Martins DHSC or McFly's DHSC.

That looks like a member of the drum family, a lot like a Red Fish.
