Thanks fellas! All credit for the pattern go to Joe Cornwall. Many of us may be familiar with Joe from the Fly Fish Ohio website, or from Joe's book on fly-fishing warmwater streams.
The variations are nearly endless, and fun to come up with. One variation I haven't fished, but like for its aethetics, is one with a red body, and white Lady Amherst tippets for the tail and legs. Maybe substitute some blue for the thorax, and you'd have a very nice patriotic fly?
