    Default FAOL mailbox maintenance tips

Here are a few tips for keeping your FAOL mailbox/PM/notifications from filling up. Your FAOL 'email' can hold a max of 50 items.

If you want to save anything or everything in your Inbox, Sent folder or any folder you've created there are a couple ways to do this.

If you have opted for email notification of private messages, one way to save all your inbox items from FAOL, is to create a folder in your mail program and save all your new PM's in your email. then just delete from your FAOL inbox. Your Inbox will never fill up.

-To archive items in your sent folder (or any folder you've created) check the items you want to save then click the down arrow to the left of "Selected messages" at the bottom right.
-This opens a small menu. Chose one of the 3 'download' options. The 'text' option is the best option for saving this type of data.
-Then click 'Proceed' and a 'Save As' dialog box will pop up and want to name the file with "privatemessage [your username][todays date].txt".
-Chose where you wish to save it on your computer and click 'Save'. All the items checked will be dumped to a text file on your computer.
-After verifying the file is indeed there, delete from your FAOL folder
