It is a little tough to do from these pics but here are a few tips:

This species is found only in the eastern half of the U.S.

There are red spots circled by a black rings on the adults and juveniles.

Adults have olive drab to brown skin tones and grow to be about 5 inches in length.

Juveniles are bright orange-red color with red spots.

Life cycle and environment are Larvae (tadpole) in pond, juvenile on land/forest, adult in pond.

Only the tadpoles have gills.
