BT's Aqua Flex n Tuff

I recently ordered some BT's Aqua-Flex as well as a bottle of Aqua-Tuff from Al Beatty and really like it.
Anyone tried this stuff yet?

I too got several bottles of Aqua Fles from Al... I really liked it for many applications.

I just have one worry,since its water based, do reckon it will soften up when the fly gets fished?
I didn't think to ask Mr Beatty.
I like the way it handles on the vise with absolutly no smell whatsoever.

NO, I haven't had any problems with it softening up, and as an asthmatic, I too can say that it's great to work without the chemical vapors.

Hi Jeff,

The Aqua Products do not soften in water once they have cured. Have fun with the stuff. By the way, I like to use the Aqua Flex (a couple of coats) to "dab-on" scud shell backs. It's really easy and very tough once it has cured. Take care & ...

Thank you Mr.Beatty ...I really like this stuff....handles good and like Bowfin, I also have athsma and I dont have to be so quik to put the lid back on.
I Highly recommend the stuff....I see that it should go along way.
