    Default The Oregon Coast

I'm just trying out my new photobucket account. This spot is on the N. Fork of the Nehalem, and if you were there we could have not caught fish together.

The Coast is so wonderous that catching fish is always a bonus. THere is no place like it.

The coastal streams are nice, but it's too bad they are vacant so much of the year. Completely hit or miss.

The amount of rain leeches the soil so there is little nutrients in the water. So it is either anadramous fish or stick to the bays for crab clams & ocean fish. Still the is the Spring chinook run in some streams, Summer steelie runs in others, Fall salmon run, Winter steelie run, fall sea run cutts run. Not too bad at all
