The same size trout would have been nothing to land. This guy dove about 10 times and jumped about 5 times. I had no control over him when he dove.

Might want to start packing a 6 wt on that river...as the summer warms up the bigger fish get more aggressive.
A nice size smallie, some swift current and a light weight rod don't always get along!
