    Default Olympic High Elevation Lakes

    Hey Everyone,
I dont expect anyone to have done this, but, Me and a few freinds are gonna hike across WA's Olympic Peninsula next summer (a good 50 miles). We are gonna stop to fish at alot of streams and lakes on the way. Does anyone have suggestions on what patterns to use.

    Hay FISHER,

I just so happened to have fished alot of the lakes and rivers up there. There are parts of the rivers up there that are closed to fishing, so know where your at. The lakes on the other hand have great fishing for some very beautiful brookies and rainbows. So for the lakes, I like dragonfly nymphs in sizes 8&6. If you like drys try Irresistibles, Royal Coachman, Stimulators and Hoppers. As for the rivers I have two paterns I like. The prince nymph and the Zug bug. Hope that helps.

    THANKS,
    T.J.
