I am looking to build a rod, i want to make a light rod for use on panfish. I was looking at either a 2 or a 3 weight rod. Where can i find a kit that comes with directions, i looked at h&h but the kits didnt come with instructions.

Get a hold Steve Clark at Midwest Custom Rod Builders. He may be able to fix you up with just exactly what you're looking for. Then check out the instructions here: http://www.flyanglersonline.com/begin/graphite/
Where you go is less important than how you take the steps.

Instructions are on the FAOL main page. http://www.flyanglersonline.com/rodmenu.php. Ask about reconmended guide spacing when you order the kit.

cd ... while the instruction on our FAOL pages cannot be overlooked as the best source for learning, the Forecast rod kits DO include a video of instructions (from h&h)

Those Forecast blanks cast nicely, too. One of those kits will make a nice first rod.
