Posting pics
I know that this has been addressed before, but I can't find the thread. Question: What is the method for posting pictures to here from your files albums? I know how to do it by downloading to Photobucket etc, but isn't there a method for posting directly from your "My Pictures" or "My Documents" files? Any help would be appreciated.
They're just fish, right? Right?
Lew there isn't a way. The FAOL server would have to house all those pictures which takes up a major amount of space.

No that's not accurate. I post to this site directly without going through photo bucket all of the time and this stie does store those uploads if you ever wanted to use that same photo in a different topic or thread later on.
I'll document the steps then come back and post the step by step process for you in a moment.
OK, reply to a thread just the way you normally would, but you have to be in "advanced mode" or hit in the bottom right hand corner "GO Advanced".
Under your reply there will be an option that says "manage attachment", click that.
Top right hand corner hit "add files"
click on "selct files"
Pick file from your computer and hit "open"
Click "upload files"
After you do that on the bottom of this area in the "attachments" area make sure the little box is selected and has a check mark in it and then click on "Insert Attachment"
Hope this helps, you might want to cut and paste and walk through it the first time around. If you run into any questions, just ask.

It was suggested we don't do it to save space and bandwidth. Just sayin.
