Default Some Nice Monday Morning Bream

Caught these on a Bloody Muddler yesterday morning. There were quite a few yearling bass but these big bream were the most thrilling.

The most interesting thing was that they, and a few other similarly sized fish, were swarming like dinks after the fly. I'd never seen fish that big swarm before!

Very nice gills. They are my favorite fly rod fish.

    Default More Breamy Goodness

I put my Cortland Platinum Dyna-Tip 5WFF on a reel appropriate to my trusty old bamboo pole and headed back into the fray again after work.

Same end of the pond, same fly, more bream bigness

Again, the yearling bass were out in force but not worthy of photography.
