Success!
I got my first saltwater fish on a fly rod yesterday evening. I was on the gulf side of fort morgan in a kayak fishing a schminnow. I would love to tell you I saw my target, and layed the fly right on top, but I was actually trolling around. I had a bluefish on but had lost it before hooking into a jack creval?(not real sure about the spelling). I fought it for 10 minutes, I yelled big fish for 9 minutes and landed about a 1 lb jack fish. When I saw it, I could not believe how small it was, but what a fighter. I will be back out there in a couple hours.
