Default Tying material on the hoof.

I didn't have to go shopping or on-line to find new and exciting fly tying material. It came to the house. I'm probably going to have to go to his house to get another hank of bison hair however. Anybody got any Manchurian Monkey mane they want to bring by?

Lew, buddy, hope you got enough to share...

If one uses this stuff you may need to rethink using a little spit to roll material onto thread.

Lew; Just how many flies do you want to tie ???? BUT you won't have to mow the lawn for awhile.

He's gettin' ready for warm weather, and I've been ready for two months. I wish he'd hurry and get shed, if it would speed things up. I'm ready for PMD's. Don't think we'll be makin' any from "Ralphie's" hair however. Maybe a hairbody emerger, or nymph?

Can't you think of anything Marco? I mean besides raising fly tying material. This feller is a friend of mine. A farmer/rancher/dairyman, and also just enjoys animals. He owns bison, llamas, donkeys, mules, horses, peacocks, goats, and assorted dogs and cats. He wanted an elephant, but the exotic animals hoops he'd have to jump through were too strenuous. So far, he's resisted the urge to get into large cats, of which I'm glad. He took the camel to the local elementary school today, to show the kids. They got a real bang out of it. He brought it by to show my wife. She's disabled, and homebound. She's the one in the door in the second picture. The camel has a good home, and lots of social interaction. By the way, Marco, me lad. He bought the camel from a guy in Wyoming. Now what would a guy in Wyoming want with a camel!!!

A fly comes to mind......... a" humpy".

I like the smile on her face and the twinkle in her eye.
