[Midwest Custom Fly Rods]

This is one of the new Burgundy colored SCIV's. Custom cork grips and fighting butt, Garnet thread (no CP) with two turn of metallic gold trim, Stripper has some metallic red trim on the inner wraps and then some alternating wraps mixed into the garnet thread on the stripper and on each ferule. Nickle silver hardware and a really nice piece of Amboyna burl for the insert.

As usual, phenominal work. I really like the wrapping on the stripper guide. I take it you found the amboyna block you wee looking for! Good find.

I really like that one! The wraps on the stripper are outstanding and I like how you finished off the full wells . at 90 degrees instead of the traditional bevel back. It somehow makes the whole build look very precise.
