    Default Three cheers for .........

Three cheers for John Colburn for helping returning injured veterans. Thanks also to Deanna Birkholm (Ladyfisher) for prodding John to keep him on track although knowing John as I do, it didn't take much prodding. The vets are the best of the best this country has and John & Deanna are right there with them. It makes me proud to be an American. It also makes me just a bit mad when I realize there are some, albeit a small number who don't support our vets and some who actually do just the opposite. That is just not right or American for that matter.

So, I say for the second time, cheers for the vets, John and Deanna!!!!!

    Happy Trails!

I will second Ron's hurrah! I am also so proud of these young men and their comrades who put their live son the line.

I too echo the sentiments above. AND, WHAT AN INSPIRATION. Tying flies under those conditions convinces me that I MUST get into tying.
    Great job John.

To many people forget our vets and what they do or what they have done and sacrificed. I am proud of all of you on this site. It is an honor to be among all of you here. My thanks to any one that supports vets of helps them in any way. Just a thank you to them some times will help more than you thank. John

Well done, John! Carry on and be certain that someone will carry on the tradition after you.

HOORAHH for the tying program, that is a great experience for them and for you as well and a great read for us. That one picture of the soldier tying with the hand laying on the table kinda threw me for a loop first time I saw it.
