    My favorite mid summer fly pattern. Nymphs, emergers, cripples and dun...



    PMD Cripple
    HOOK: TMC 2487 or Daiichi 1130, #16-#18
    THREAD: Gordon Griffith?s 14/0 Sheer, Black or Brown
    TAIL: Partridge fibers
    RIB: x-sm Wapsi, Gold
    ABDOMEN: Pheasant tail fibers
    THORAX: Stalcup?s PMD Dub
    WING: Costal Deer Hair, natural, clipped to represent burst shuck, fanned in front







    PMD Crippled Emerger
    HOOK: TMC 100. Daiichi 1100, #16-#18
    THREAD: Gordon Griffith?s 14/0 Sheer, Dark Brown
    TAIL: 3 Rusty Brown Ostrich Herl Fibers
    RIB: x-sm Wapsi wire, Gold
    ABDOMEN: Rusty Brown Ostrich Herl, twisted and wrapped
    THORAX: Fine and Dry PMD Dub
    HACKLE: Ginger
    WING: Tan Coastal Deer Hair, angled forward
