    Default Sage 9' 4wts

OK Sageheads, time to chime in.

I have owned, cast and/or fished 9' 4wt XP, SLT, Z-axis, and ZXL's. I got a line on a 9' 4wt, 2 pc. SP and would like to know how it compares. I need a 9' 4wt that does it all and looks that good doing it!

    What say ye?

I own a 9' 4wt SP 3-piece. It's a great medium to medium fast rod. It's has a similar action to the but is heavier (in actual weight) than the SLT you own. I like the grip because it's tapered in front rather than having a winding check. A nice rod overall. Good luck with it.

I have the SLT in 4 and 5, and the SP in 5. No question the SLT's are favored with the 4 being my most favored of all rods. But, its all personal.
