Default Fishing Options In Lewiston, Idaho

Just wondering if anyone knows of good water in the Lewiston, Id area this time of year? Haven't heard of any good salmon runs yet, and steelheading is over. Any help is appreciated.

Kelly, I used to live there and fished Mann lake as it was close to town, this time of year it could be a muddy mess to fish from shore.

I would call Mark at Traditional Sportsman for current information. Nice guy and a great store. http://www.thetraditionalsportsman.com/

Oh and the month of May if a very busy time in Lewiston, probably wise to get motel reservations before going.

Eric, thanks for the info. We'll be stopping by Mark's place to see what he can tell us.

I can't say about fly fishing but there's a lot of feed lots in Kansas.
