Here's another reason to tie tube flies.
I was called upon to take some boys fishing at the last minute. They were opposed to the idea of fly fishing.
So, I took some tube flies and some cone head weights and attached it to their spin cast rods.
You know, they outfished me that day!
So, versatility is another reason for those serious hardware chuckers.
