Default Sage 490-4 for cancer survivor

Just finished this rod for a young man who has been battling testicular cancer for the last two years. He is now 21 and appears to be cancer free! To celebrate he is leaving the middle of June to fish his way to Alaska to visit his sister in Fairbanks who is expecting her first child. The blank is a Z-axis 9' 4pc 4wt. the reel seat is a BUL5 with Chinese Elm insert to match handle. Handle is Chinese Elm, walnut/cherry checkerboard, and hawthorne with a moose antler winding check. Guides are single foot TiCr with TiCr stripper and wraps are FishHawk Grass varigated with Pac Bay Ti CR mettallic trims.

Very nice rod and certainly a nice gesture. Good job. I hope he is in the clear and cancer free forever.
