Default Who has fly shops close to your home?

I am sooooo luckey and I expect the other Oregonians on board will agree.
Within thirty miles and less from home I have:

    1. Stutzman's Fly Shop in Lebanon
    2. Two Rivers Fly Shop in Albany
    3. Home Waters in Eugene
    4. The Caddis Fly in Eugene

I'm sure that when a lot of you think Connecticut, you think suburbia.
Well in my neck of the woods it's pretty rural.
We got plenty of fishin' and there's a few bait and tackle places, but the closest fly shop is about a hour away. I don't get down there very often so I tend to get most of my stuff from H&H.

No Fly shops all that close...Pretty much have to rely on internet for alot of stuff..But the Sporting goods shop 15 min. away has a decent supply of Flyfishing & Tying supplies...I guess my closest Fly Shop is in Coburn ..If that one is still in biz...??...Been a while..But I know Flyfishers Paradise is up in State Collage about hour and a half away.
If there is something I really have to see before buying this is where I'll head...Such as good winging necks..But I'm stocked up on those for the next 50 or so years.!!!!
    Wish ya great fishing,Bill

I've got two that are about 15-20 miles away, in opposite directions. There are probably 6-7 within a 75 minute ride of my house.

I live & work in downtown Chicago and oddly enough there is an Orvis 4 blocks away (lets just say they know me well!)
and within a 15 minute drive i can find and independent shop...not bad considering...

    Gardenfish,
As you probably know we lost two in Salem...still have Creekside....and of course Sportsman's Warehouse which I suspect is the major cause of the two closing....GI Joe's has some stuff.

My nearest flyshop is over an hour away.
When I get there, I'm usually disappointed
as they are primarily a saltwater shop. I
more often than not can't get what I went
there for to start with.*G* I do however
have a Super Walmart less than 10 minutes
away as well as countless on line shops a
phone call away. So I don't really want
for anything other than those last minute
goodies one sometimes forgets prior to a
    trip.*G* Warm regards, Jim
