Another Switch Rod

Here's another switch rod I just finished. This is a Batson 7wt switch and has the batson grips on it. Colors are a little wild on this one. Definitely more wild that what I put on my own rods but this is what the owner wanted. The colors have grown on me and I actually really like it now. Feather inlay was inspired by kbproctors nice saltwater rod he posted. I added a couple more grizzly hackles off the side that wrap around toward the back of the rod.

Very very nice. I'm really starting to like the way metallic thread looks under a good finish.

I'm not one for wild colors on my own personal rods either but the contrasting blues really look good though, it works well together.
