One of the rods I got in a recent bulk purchase of used fly fishing gear was a 6' TFO signature series 2 weight. It was one of the two rods I decided to keep as I had nothing in that size. I took it out today with a stonefly nymph on local river. The first time the line tip stopped I set the hook and the two pieice rod was instantly a three piece. I believe that it had probably been beaded in the past. The good news is that even though I made it clear that I was not the origional purchaser TFO is going to repair the rod for their normal warrenty service fee. So I learned two things tody: TFO has great customer service and you should never drive an hour to fish with only one rod in the car
