Default Stones River Below Percy Priest Dam - Not Trout Friendly This Week

They have stopped releasing water from Percy Priest Dam and the Stones River below it has basically dried up to the level of the Cumberland River, into which it flows. If there are still any of the rainbows left over from the winter stocking program, this would be the time to harvest them. I expect that survivers may become floaters before long. If we get enough rain this weekend they might release some water, otherwise life ain't gonna be good for the trout.

    Ed

P.S. Remember that if they start generating power that the water level will come up 10-15 feet VERY fast.
