Default A simple experiment that seems to have worked out...

A while back we had a thread on painting blanks. No one really had much of a solution so I thought I would try something. After scuffing lightly with a gray Scotchbrite pad, cleaning with paint thinner then following that up with denatured alcohol, I took a rattle can of Krylon Fusion and turned this 9', 2pc, 5/6 Tiger Eye blank pink. Yup, pink. Rose colored wraps on the stainless snakes with CP and a simple rosewood seat and cork grip finish it off.

While the paint does not like being scraped, it isn't going to pop off due to flexing.
