Hi all, taking the plunge!

I am new at both fly fishing and fly tying. Just retired 3 months ago, have always like spin cast fishing.
Found there was such thing as fly fishing as rec. sport then also found out about fly tying as a hobby.
Both have bitten me, watched a squirrel cross a street and thought squirrel tail.
I have been reading this and a fly tying forum also so many helpful hints and ideas. I just keep reading
and appreciate there are so people willing to help. I haven't asked any so far because there are so many answers to see if things have been answer.
Just though I would say to everyone.

Welcome- fishing is good no matter how you get out on the water, it's just that someways seem more satisfying than others. especially if you start tying your own.
