Default 8'6" 5wt Sevier Tiger Eye

This rod is for a young customer that was looking for his first fly rod so I decided to give him a price I normally wouldn't give to someone but since he's just 16yrs old and just getting into Fly Fishing I wanted his first rod to be something that would hopefully help get him hooked on fly fishing like the rest of us are and be something he can enjoy for many years to come. I also threw in a matching 5wt line, a fly box & some tapered leaders for free to help fuel his desire to fly fish.

Rod is a 8'6" Tiger Eye with a Walnut seat and aluminum hardware, reversed Half Wells grip, NCP Red main wraps with metallic silver trim and hardloy stripper guides with SF guides. Hopefully this will be just the start he needs to enjoy this wonderful sport.

What a excellent way to get a young man started. That is so awesome. For the rest of his life he will have a great looking rod to fish with and memories of the man that made it possible.

Nice move Steve. That lad will surely enjoy it.

No it's just the lighting in the pic because it was taken inside.

I'm sure he would like that. If anyone wants to send a few flies for him just send them to me and I'll send them all to him in a box. Thanks guys thats a nice gesture.
