Thread: freshwater surprise

    Default freshwater surprise

    fishing with a father/son team for a few days...today we couldnt launch so we walked the freshwater canals...this hold lots of sweetwater fish as well such as snook, jacks and tarpon...this is Pete from Ohio...finished up with some peacocks and he was hitting dbls on tandem clousers

    That first pic looks similar to a spot right next to the hotel I stayed out when I came down. I suppose there's a bazillion spots that look like that on the canals, though.

    Good job Cordell. Heading down that way early May. Will stop either on the way or on the way home at a canal and try my hand at Peacock Bass.
