Default Phenology - plant blooms to match bug hatches question

I am interested in a list of plants that bloom at the same time that bugs hatch. I know there are two books in this (one Western, one Eastern), but hoped to find something in the internet. I have several wild flower and plant books so can identify the plants (and several bug books too), so don't want to buy a new book if I don't have to. A Google search today did not help me. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

    Hey Greg

My project this year is to put together a local Alberta phenology hatch chart. I have Bob's book which is largely related to Alberta (he has been trying to republish) but I'd like a more local chart and one that I can link from my home in Lethbridge to the east slopes.

From what I've figured the only way to apply the theory is to match it to your local climate yourself.
If you know most of the plants and bugs you're more than halfway.

    Cheers

Don't have any books for you but the skunk cabbage is blooming here which means alder flies are hatching and searun cutts will be feasting on them in the lower river. To bad they closed the lower river to all fishing. &*^%$!
