    Default Thread Spools

It seems that sometimes stuff I order comes on a spool with a hole too large to use with a bobbin. I have several spools of wire that would be much easier to use with a bobbin and I frequently divide yarn, floss and such into individual strands which would be easier to store and use with a thread spool that fits my bobbins.
Anyone have any spools to spare? I might be able to afford the shipping, but certainly don't want/can't make a large investment, but would like to have a few empty spools to try.

You can get empty spools at Michaels, etc.

Or try... as I have... with the larger holed ones using a couple of patches of foam over the holes and then putting on the bobbin.
