You had me worried there, Joni. When my wandering left eye and dyslexia both kick in I sometimes misread the thread titles. I thought yours said you broke your rod, not broke in. Big difference. Nice to scare away the skunk mojo by landing a couple nice fishies on the rod.
Congrats on a fine looking rod and fish.

Don't even think those things...LOL Thanks!
Very nice! Great way to break in a new stick!!

That's a GOOD-lookin' rod!! Hooray for the fish! I got skunked today trying to break in one of my new rods.... ;o)

..... I almost didn't recognize you with that glove on. Thought maybe someone had stolen your identity.
I'm assuming you all still have some remnants of winter down your way ?? No big deal as long as the water is warm enough for the fishies to be active.
Good looking stick. Look forward to seeing more of it.
John
The fish are always right.
I AM dyslexic. I read "Broke My Rod" and "The T.L. Johnson I built this winter got broke yesterday. What a great day"
Nice rod and fish by the way.

Okay Joni, you did it to several of us. We need to SLOW down when we read, and real ALL the words.
Nice Brookie!!!

Ditto! You got me too. I expected to see a rod in a trunk lid or sumthin:^) I reckon I should read slower!
