Default American Wooly is destined to become a American Classic Dry Fly

The "American Wooly" is a simple, yet very striking dry fly pattern. The American Wooly is destined to become a American Classic Dry Fly.

It is reminisce of other hackle bodied dry fly pattern, yet it still has it own unique shape and markings.

This is Tom Deschaine's 17th "Fly of the Week" contribution.

I know that I will be adding some of these to my fly boxes, for this years fishing season. ~Parnelli
