Hi Terry,
I have a Cabela's Stowaway 7'6" 4-wt, but in a 5-piece which I bought several years ago, I don't think they made a 6-piece then.
I do like it, the price was right, and it fits perfectly on my backpack, which I use for all-day hiking trips into wild brookie country.
It came with a Cabela's Drake reel, which is also OK.
The outfit fits my needs perfectly, but then I am no connousuier (?) of the more expensive rods.
I hope this helps.
Let me know of any further questions.

For a real challenge, try ice fishing with dry flies.
I haven't tried the new 6pc one but I have built on the same one JimBob has (the 5pc) and was pretty impressed by the feel of it. Not sure who makes their blanks for them but they do seem pretty nice especially for the affordable price they charge.

I have a 5wt 7 piece. Great little rod. My son uses it when we backpack into Rocky Mt Nat Park. It casts nicely, and I have used it a few times on the White River.
I've got the 5 pc., 4wt Stowaway, too. It's a very good stick for the price!

Hi Terry,
Don't know about the new one, but count one more vote for the folks who likes the old 7'6" 5 piece 4 wt.
