.... yet. But one of the guides at a fly shop in Missoula told me a week or so ago that he and another guide had noticed quite a good midge hatch on the Bitterroot in the evening - around 5:30 as I recall, with fish up and eating.

I don't usually fish that time of day, and like most others, have fished the winter / spring midge hatches in the late morning and afternoon. Need to go take a look at the Bitterroot one of these evenings, soon.
